Begin your journey at the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, home to ancient kings and queens of the Silla Dynasty. Take your time strolling through the grassy mounds and don’t miss the Cheonmachong Tomb, one of the few you can enter to see royal artefacts up close.

Grab a traditional Korean meal nearby. You’ll find plenty of local eateries offering classic dishes that are both hearty and comforting after a morning of sightseeing. Try bibimbap, a colourful bowl of rice topped with fresh vegetables, marinated meat, and a perfectly fried egg, all mixed together with spicy gochujang sauce. A true taste of Korea in every bite.

If you’re looking for something warm and restorative, samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) is a favourite choice, featuring a whole young chicken stuffed with rice, ginseng, garlic, and jujube, simmered to tender perfection.

15:00: Visit Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond

Day 2

09:00: Morning adventure at Gyeongju World
