A New Zealand-based Virgin Australia flight attendant bid a poignant farewell to loyal passengers and her beloved workmates during an in-flight announcement on her final shift.
During the unfeigned and heart-rending speech from the despondent flight attendant, she can be seen fighting hard to hold back her tears as the airline announced that it would be closing its New Zealand bases and cutting trans-Tasman routes, as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to loom.
