It’s official: Fully vaccinated individuals from Singapore can travel to South Korea from 15 Nov onwards! The best part? No quarantine will be required.
The Transport Ministry made the announcement on Fri, 8 Oct of a new Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) between the two countries to facilitate travel for fully vaccinated travellers.

What do I need to take note of?
The VTL allows travel between Singapore’s Changi Airport and South Korea’s Incheon International Airport. Four PCR tests will be conducted pre-departure and on-arrival, replacing the mandatory quarantine and Stay-Home Notice.
As with the other VTL schemes, fully vaccinated individuals can only fly via designated VTL flights. Also, travellers from either country are required to have stayed in their departing country at least 14 days before departure.
Furthermore, there’ll be no restrictions for the purpose of travel, and no controlled itinerary is required either. In other words, fully vaccinated individuals are free to travel around as they wish!
Travelling to South Korea in the new normal
At the time of writing, 83% of Singapore’s adult population and 63% in South Korea are fully vaccinated. Thus, it seems like the hope for travel to resume in this new normal is soon to become a reality.
