7. Swim alongside the gentle giants of the deep

Are you equipped with a scuba certification but haven’t had the opportunity to put your skills to use in the past two years? Luckily, Resorts World Sentosa’s S.E.A. Aquarium organises diving programmes for experienced individuals to swim with aquatic marine animals!

There are two diving activities currently available — which, most importantly, come highly recommended. Firstly, the Open Ocean Dive is a scuba diving extravaganza where you can expect to swim with diverse aquatic wildlife such as groupers, manta rays, and more!

On the other hand, the Shark Dive is perfect for a marine adventure with a little more oomph; scuba divers get the rare opportunity for an up-close encounter with over 100 sharks from 12 different species, including the endangered scalloped hammerhead shark, silvertip shark, and sandbar shark.

Note: Kindly ensure that you’ve booked in advance and have a scuba certification before making your way to these diving attractions.

8. Get up close and personal with the ocean’s top predator

You may wonder: What if I want that first-hand encounter with sharks but don’t have the necessary certification for it?

Enter the Shark Encounter, where you’ll be able to marvel at the glorious marine animal from the safety of an acrylic enclosure! Basically, think of an aquarium, but you’ll be donning your swimwear and paddling in the enclosure while the marine predators swim just inches away from you.

As someone who doesn’t have a scuba certification yet, I think this is a great first step to admiring the marine animal up close.

9. Experience the thrill of Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster

Let’s face it: you’re probably venturing to a water park precisely because you want to ride a waterslide. Fortunately, Adventure Cove Waterpark is home to the Riptide Rocket Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster.

Put simply, the intense speeds and plunging drops of this water coaster will remind you of a roller coaster on water. Sounds like an amazing experience to me!

The array of water slides here also offers the perfect bonding opportunity with your friends; the Pipeline Plunge, Spiral Washout, Tidal Twister, and Whirlpool Washout feature an amalgamation of twists and turns before landing in a splash pool, while the high-speed competitive Dueling Racer is perfect for deciding who’ll be treating everyone to the post-activity meal. (Jokes aside, just remember that it’s all about the fun and games at the end of the day!).

For avid foodies

10. Fill up your tummies with jumbo-sized desserts and tapas

The excitement at Universal Studios Singapore doesn’t stop at the roller coasters and meet-and-greet sessions; the food here is served to impress, too.

Enter the enormously magnificent bites of Jumbo Thrills at KT’S Grill, where tapas and dessert platters get a massive upgrade in size. Dig in with the Jumbo Tapas Platter of chicken lollipops, cheesy meatballs, codfish sliders, and more!! Don’t forget to wash it all down with a refreshing drink (choice of soda, juice, or alcohol!)

For something sweeter, go for the desserts and high tea and indulge in everything from towering waffle stacks with ice cream to ice-cold local delicacies. Combine that with the free flow of coffee or tea and you’ve got yourself the perfect midday treat to keep you going for a couple more hours!

11. Be charmed by the culinary masterpieces of award-winning celebrity chefs

After your daytime excitement at Resorts World Sentosa’s attractions is over, wind down with a scrumptious meal by choosing from one of the resort’s many restaurants.

What’s more, did you know that many of these eateries are award-winning eateries, too? Take table65, a one-star Michelin restaurant serving up modern European cuisine. Founded by Dutch Chefs van Oostenbrugge and Groot, the lavish restaurant promises to be the perfect sumptuous treat after a jam-packed day.

Similarly, Osia Steak and Seafood Grill boasts grilled-to-perfection prime beef and succulent seafood that never fail to impress.

12. Tour the world with your palette

Italian, Japanese, and even Malaysian: these are just a few of the restaurant cuisines you can find at Resorts World Sentosa!

The splendid eateries here promise an extravaganza of a journey with your tastebuds. Even the wallet-friendly option at the unique old-town Malaysian Food Street — a space that gathers the most sedap street food from Malaysia’s famous hawkers — will offer you a taste reminiscent of home.

If you’re craving international cuisine, CURATE CUCINA PISANA is one of the first restaurants in all of Singapore that specialise in the colourful cuisine of Pisa, Italy! Feng Shui Inn, on the other hand, offers you an intimate experience of authentic Cantonese cuisine that will leave you craving more every day! Finally, for those who love Japanese food, Syun serves up some of the best nouvelle Japanese cuisine you’ll find anywhere in Singapore!
