Namhansanseong (South Han Mountain Fortress), located southeast of Seoul, is one of the most beautiful and newly listed UNESCO World Heritage Sites. At a high altitude of 480 metres above sea level, potential threats back in days can be easily spotted. Namhansanseong features ancient temples and fortifications that date back to the 17th century.

This historical landmark has been carefully restored and protected by the Namhansanseong Culture & Tourism Initiatives, an organization with an ultimate goal of applying the rich legacy and surroundings of Namhan Mountain Fortress to establish a well-preserved park that offers visitors history, culture, and nature.
