One of Langkawi’s most popular attractions, the Langkawi Sky Bridge is an impressive engineering feat that allows visitors to connect with nature. This 125-metre (410 ft) curved pedestrian cable-stayed bridge is built above Gunung Mat Cincang, Langkawi’s best-known mountain.

Completed in 2005, the Langkawi Sky Bridge allows visitors to take a hair-raising stroll high above the lush forests of Gunung Mat Cincang. The bridge is accessible via the Langkawi Cable Car. Due to renovations and maintenance, the sky bridge was temporarily closed in 2012. The reopening of the bridge was further delayed by the strong winds and harsh weather. However, the project is expected to be completed in time for the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2015 this March.

In the meantime, watch this video and enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery.
