From the country that created the house that stands on its roof, comes another strangely creative house that has defied the basic structure of a liveable human dwelling. A claustrophobic person will not survive inside Poland’s Keret House. With a maximum width of not more than 5 feet, it is considered as the world’s slimmest house.
This two-storey structure was installed between a pre-war house and an apartment building. It was designed by Jakub Szczęsny but it was named after Israeli writer and filmmaker Etgar Keret, who was the building’s first tenant. Even though it is being used as a residence, Keret House is still classified as an “art installation” because it does not conform to the Polish building codes.
Would you consider living in such a narrow space?
Head down to Poland to view this amazing structure before it’s gone.
