Turkey is the home to the world’s most beautiful hot spa! The hot springs of Pamukkale are created by hot calcium-laden waters from within the earth that cascade over a cliff. As they cool down, they harden to form dramatic travertines – the little hot spring pools we’d love to take a dip into! “Pamukkale” directly translates to “cotton fortress”, and yes, if you look at the picture above, it looks very much like a fortress of cushioned cotton. You can even swim in these hot pools for a small fee.
