The Kaohsiung Tourism Bureau and the Agriculture Bureau joined one of Singapore’s biggest travel fairs, the Travel Revolution 2016, which took place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre last 19-21 August 2016.

With figures showing that Singaporean visitors coming in to Taiwan increased by 4.47% in 2015, the Tourism Bureau is quite optimistic about promoting their country even more.
Here’s what travellers can look forward to:
New transportation options
Kaohsiung offers a variety of transportation choices for everyone including MRT, bus, CityBike, and just this year, the circular light trail and the double-decker tour bus for getting around the Asia New Bay area.
Many exciting thematic tours
Various thematic tours are now available to independent travellers: One-Day Farmer Experience, Sports and LOHAS, Culture and Creativity and One-Day Farmer Experience. The last theme, promoted by the Agriculture Bureau, is the most unique of all as it offers travellers the chance to handpick fruits, enjoy local flavours and just take in the natural beauty of Taiwan.

Exclusive package tours to experience Southern Taiwan
Additional package tours that allow Singaporeans to experience the beauty of southern Taiwan include: Southern Taiwan Glamour Tour, LOHAS Holiday in Kaohsiung and Pingtung, Cultural and Creative Trip in Marine Capital, Travel in Southern Taiwan and Muslim-Exclusive Trip.
At the fair, the Kaohsiung Bravo, a travel promotional video in which Singaporean and Malaysian students in Taiwan served as tour guides in Kaohsiung, were played to attract many travellers.
