The Rising Trend of Female-Only Hotels and Spaces in Asia & Beyond

The Rise of “Female-Only” Hotels and Spaces in Asia & Beyond

Our guide to the growing trend of "female-only" spaces, hotels - and yes, even a "women-only" island in Finland.

Safety, empowerment, and pampering are the three main factors according to a survey by Cornell University that strongly affect women’s decisions in choosing a place to stay. No doubt, this has resulted in hotels providing extra amenities that not only caters to women (i.e. female-only floors), but also female-only hotels.

Besides the obvious “no-men allowed” policy, such hotels also provide wellness services such as treatments, massages and hot tubs for the extra level of pampering that female travellers seek. Interested in staying in such a hotel? Here are the “female-only” hotels you can find around Asia and beyond!
