Besides being home to handprints and statues of famous Hong Kong celebrities, this dazzling road on the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade allows travellers to marvel at the spectacular views of Victoria Harbour.

Art galleries and museums

Attention, art lovers: The stunning M+ Museum designed by Herzog & de Meuron can’t be missed. Located in the West Kowloon Cultural District, the museum opened its doors back in November 2021. It’s hailed for being Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture, with 33 galleries showcasing modern works of design and architecture, moving images, and visual arts.

Theme parks and indoor playgrounds

Been to Hong Kong Disneyland? Luckily, it’s not Hong Kong’s only theme park — and there are even a couple of new ones for repeat tourists! In September 2021, Ocean Park Water World launched as Asia’s first year-round, all-weather waterfront water park. And if you’re not a big fan of splashing around, Monopoly Dreams at The Peak delivers a vibrant experience inspired by the famous board game. Meanwhile, the Legoland Discovery Centre invites Lego fans from around the world to explore and play in their colourful space.

Natural attractions

Designated as part of the Frontier Closed Area in 1951, Sha Tau Kok began to welcome non-residents to the area in June 2022. Curious travellers can now take a peek at the once-closed town! And when you’re here, drop by nearby natural attractions such as the tiny island of Ap Chau known for eye-catching rock formations and Kat O famous for its scenic hilltop views.

There are very few things Celia won’t do for a good story, but her favourite ones always involve the beach, animals, or any type of outdoor activity. She’s been writing for as long as she can remember, and can usually be found typing away at home with her cute dogs at her feet. Away from work, she spends most of her time trying out every hobby she can get her hands on, from running to crocheting to baking (she’s pretty okay at most things that don't involve cooking).
