The milk tea bubble (pun absolutely intended) just keeps on growing with no end in sight, and if you have somehow managed to guzzle down all the wacky boba snacks (as per our last article) you can now even smell like your favourite drink!
Thai cosmetics brand Mistine has treated its customers to a special black-tea-and-milk-infused body lotion to smear all over their bodies. And no, before you ask, you can’t actually eat this no matter how much it looks like a great topping for your pancakes! The packaging also reflects the inspiration of the product, resembling a cup of bubble tea with the iconic brown sugar streaking down the sides.
If you would like to justify to yourself that this cream is more than just a way to show your allegiance to the boba fanclub, Mistine claims that the protein found in the milk will help to replenish the nutrients on your skin, and antioxidants found in the black tea will further nourish it for a soft and smooth touch. Mistine has also thrown in Vitamin E and B3 into the mix to make sure your skin stays in its tip-top condition.

It’s been quite a hit so far on their Facebook announcement, with people claiming that they would now “like to eat my limbs” and “be an ant magnet”. We aren’t the latter, but I’d be very worried about the former happening in my sleep!
Currently for sale on Lazada’s Thai website for THB99 (S$4.40), it doesn’t seem to be shipping internationally just yet, but we can certainly hold out hope. Otherwise, just grab a friend or two for a short hop to the Land of Smiles and pick up a tube or two on the way!
