Under this new travel bubble, only fully vaccinated foreigners who have stayed in Singapore for at least 14 days will be allowed to enter Batam and Bintan. In order to reach the travel bubble areas on both islands, you must travel by ferry and disembark at either Batam’s Nongsapura International Ferry Terminal or Bintan’s Bandar Bintan Telani Ferry Terminal.

Foreigners will then be required to prepare these documents beforehand and present them at the entrance of these areas.

1. A vaccination card or certificate which states that you have received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before departure. The proof must also be written in English and verified on either Indonesia’s Ministry of Health website or through e-HAC International Indonesia.

2. A negative result for an RT-PCR test taken 72 hours before departure.

3. A tourist visit visa or any other entry permit in accordance with the citizenship of the traveller. This does not apply to Singaporean travellers.

4. A proof of travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 that includes financing for handling COVID-19 and medical evacuation to a referred hospital.

5. The PeduliLindung and Bluepass applications downloaded onto your mobile phone.
